Estate planning involves more than just preparing for your death; it also involves planning for your care when you need assistance or are unable to care for yourself. Planning now can provide assurance that things will be handled in the way that you want and make it easier for you and your loved ones during difficult times. Without estate planning, your loved ones will have to sort out your affairs for you, and a lot of problems can arise from that. 

If you come to me for help with your estate planning, my goal is to help you understand what will happen if you fail to plan for yourself and your loved ones and what you can do now to prepare for the future. 

I try to make this a pleasant experience for my clients. I offer payment plans, discounts for Veterans and Service Members, flexible meeting times, and the convenience of meeting with you in your home or your office.

An introduction package is sent to clients before we meet. It helps clients get to know me better and my approach to working with clients, so they know what to expect. The packet also includes questionnaires, which will help guide our discussions when we meet.  

First, I'll get to know you and your family. Then, we'll discuss what is important to you and your goals for the future. Finally, we'll talk about what you own, how you want your assets to pass to your loved ones, and planning options.

If you have young children, what planning have you done and what legacy will you leave for them? 

• Have you appointed temporary and long-term guardians to care for your children in the event you are unable to be there for them?
• How do you want your children cared for if you are gone?

What do you want to happen to you and your assets if you are unable to make decisions for yourself? 

Are you a military family that has to deal with separations?
